Dr. Peter McCullough MD, MPH, FACC, FAHA, FASN, FNKF, FNLA, FCRSA 
is an internist, cardiologist, epidemiologist, researcher and editor of medical journals who has been a leader in the medical response to COVID-19. In August of 2020 he published “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection” in the American Journal of Medicine. This paper was the first description of an innovative sequenced multi-drug early outpatient treatment for patients infected with the virus. It was subsequently updated in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. McCullough has published dozens of peer-reviewed papers on the infection, and has commented extensively on the medical response in many important media outlets. He has testified on several occasions in the U.S. Senate and before several State Senate and Congressional Committees about the urgent necessity to treat high-risk patients to help them avoid hospitalization and death. His conviction has been guided by his Hippocratic Oath to treat the sick to the best of his ability and judgment and he implemented safe and effective practices. Unfortunately, his life-saving work on early treatment, which clearly should have been celebrated, instead cause him severe punitive actions from several professional institutions he served.
