Jodi O’Malley is a critical care nurse with a Master’s Degree. She treated Covid patients for nearly two years in a federal hospital for Native Americans. That ended abruptly after her conscience forced her to become a whistleblower and publicly reveal the extent of underreported vaccine injuries and outright corruption of the healthcare system. She said that policy and protocol [I would add greed] had taken precedence over the Patient’s Bill of Rights. Link to her podcast. The Truth for Health nonprofit organization fights to protect patient rights and to hold hospitals accountable for malpractice and wrongful deaths. Go here to report vaccine injury (simply reading the list of potential harms will give you pause about getting the shots). Click here to learn about the types of indefensible practices in health care facilities or to report a bad experience with covid treatment. There are a lot of helpful resources on that website. Learn about the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons’ lawsuit to stop medical specialties from cancelling brave doctors who courageously helped covid patients. Jena Savadsky Griffith, RDN, IHC is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and an International Health Coach. This linked website details the frustrating and ultimately heartbreaking story of how a hospital caused her husband’s death by using dangerous (but profitable) treatments and by refusing potentially helpful ones. It is tempting to assume that when we are in the hospital we have no control and must just go along with whatever the “authorities” want. But, as it turns out, we do have rights. The blog this week is about the Patient Bill of Rights. Know how to protect yourself and loved ones. By the way, it you don’t have time to read those rights at the moment, skip down the newsletter Updates, quotes, cartoon, etc Then, remember that there is a copy of the Patient Bill of Rights in the HBN online Library. Go to HBNshow.com and select “library” from the menu and then go to the medical section. |
