Health is a lot more than the absence of a diagnosis. When there are health problems, I can’t think of a case where the root cause is a drug deficiency. Virtually all conditions can at least be improved by changes in diet and lifestyle and a surprising number of even supposedly terminal diseases can actually be reversed. The bottom line is that no matter what you are dealing with, it can’t hurt to help your body become as healthy as possible.
A good place to start is to read the Basics of Health page. In fact, most Health Library pages on this site offer some clues. The answers are out there, but first you have to realize that there are questions. Those questions might not even come up in an office visit in mainstream medicine because they fall outside the scope of the usual medical education. Alerting you to some of those questions (and hopefully, a few of the answers as well) is the goal of everything I do—including the radio show and the newsletter. Some disease conditions have their own pages. This page is to provide resources as I find them on issues for which I haven’t had time to create a page.
Disclaimer: Medical conditions require professional attention. The information on this website, like that on our radio show and in my newsletter and books, is intended to provide education – not to substitute for the care of your health professional. Naturally, if you are better informed, you will be better able to evaluate the advice you receive from your doctor. I suggest that you seek a physician who strives to identify and heal the cause of disease rather than simply suppress its symptoms. If your doctor does not treat you with respect, answer your questions, and at least consider requests to use the least toxic, least invasive and least expensive remedies first, it might be time to change docs. See the pages Doctors, Dentists and the one called Quacks.
