Healthy by Nature radio show this week
+ John Young, MD practices integrative medicine in the Tampa / Clearwater / St. Pete area. He is also the author of the book, Beyond Treatment about building health from the cellular level up. I want to follow up on a listener’s call about skin conditions and I have questions about building a healthy foundation for children. \
Then we switch gears to talk about our teeth with our favorite holistic dentist, Philip R. Kozlow, DDS. There is a lot of interest in tooth whitening and adult braces. I’ll ask him about the best way to accomplish those.
BEHIND THE NEWS

The latest drug for lowering cholesterol has been getting media attention. My friend, genius nutrition expert, Bill Sardi tells the rest of the story in this thoughtful and fact-filled article.
- On the subject of patient safety…we see an article here and there about medical mistakes and or deaths from avoidable infections acquired in hospitals. The website at this link pulls the pieces together into an alarming and motivating whole picture.
- If you have decided that you would like to add a doctor to your team who has a good collection of non-toxic natural remedies in his or her black bag, perhaps this reference page from our website will help. Of course, if you can get to the DFW area, I recommend Gus Kotsanis, MD. If you are in Florida, you can’t do better than John Young, MD, our guest this week.
COMING ATTRACTIONS
The presenters for this event are world class. This should be fabulous, life-changing (life-saving?) information.

Last Week Follow-up
LISTEN to that show in the archives. When Rob Martin was on the show in February, we had a lot of fun learning about telomeres. They protect our chromosomes (genetic material) and their length is an indication of how we are aging. He was back to tell us more about studies, the implications and how to reverse the shortening process with Telovite. (Incidentally, that offer of a free bottle expires after this weekend.) Then I talked with Hamilton Cabanilla, an educator with Enzymedica, about enzymes for stages of a woman’s life, including PMS, Pregnancy and post 50.
