You may have figured out that those were trick questions!

All of the items under High Fructose Corn Syrup contained it and every item in the Added refined sugar section at the least contained an ingredient called “sugar”. But, some had several other forms of sugar too. If you answered mostly B’s, good for you. Those had slightly less of the offending ingredient than the A’s but with some it was a tie.

As you can see, guessing is just no substitute for reading the label ingredients. There you will also often find MSG in its many disguises, artificial colors that contain aluminum, and other unnatural chemicals. It seems that the center aisles of the grocery store should be approached with caution. By and large, the produce and meat sections (not the processed aisle) are  pretty safe.
