Today, we will learn how to “Max Your Immunity: How to Maximize Your Immune System When You Need It Most.” That is a book by my guest Pamela W. Smith, MD, MPH, MS. She spent the first twenty years of her practice as an emergency room physician with the Detroit Medical Center in a level 1 trauma center. Dr. Smith is a diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Physicians and is an authority on wellness and functional medicine. She is the founder of the Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. Dr. Smith has been featured on CNN and is the best-selling author of ten books. In October, we discussed her recent “What You Must Know About Women’s Hormones – Second Edition. Your Guide to Natural Hormone Treatments for PMS, Menopause, Osteoporosis, PCOS, and More.” This link is to her interview on HBN about hormones.
