Fibromyalgia affects up to 6 million Americans. We’ll talk about one holistic healing approach with Dr. Stephen R. Evans, DDS. He is a fellow speaker at the 2015 North Texas Fibromyalgia Conference, June 6. (See details below.)

I’ve also asked Andrew Shepherd, DC to explain a gentle option for chiropractic adjustments.

A RECIPE for Alzheimer’s disease

The rates of Alzheimer’s disease are increasing at an alarming rate and there is so far no sign a cure will be coming. We all need to how to avoid things that we are doing which may be contributing to future brain problems. In the blog this week I summarize a fascinating article by Sephanie Seneff, PhD, a Senior Research Scientist at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Can LOW cholesterol (yes, even LDL) be part of the problem? The blog discusses statin drugs, fructose, sunscreen, flu shots, sleep aids and artificial sweeteners. Click here to read the blog.

Last Week Follow-up

LISTEN to that show in the archives. Enzymes! It has been a long time since we talked about their important role in the body. We focused on the digestive variety with David Barton, an educator with my favorite enzyme company, Enzymedica, makers of fabulous Digest Gold. (As I’ve mentioned before, we are not really just what we eat…we also must break food down and absorb it.) We also covered enzymes such as Digest Spectrum for food sensitivities. Later in the show we talked with HBN’s foreign correspondent, Christine about food and supplements in Europe. Then Andy Hopkins and I introduced a most impressive friendly bacterium, ME3, that increases the master antioxidant, glutathione. ME3 comes in 3 combinations: Immune & Vitality or Detox & Liver or Cardio Wellness.
