Healthy by Nature radio show THIS WEEK
test

Today, two topics & two guests. My first guest is Reverend Robert Sweeney, the Executive Director of Dallas Life. It is an amazing facility and program that supports, trains, heals and rehabilitates homeless persons rather than just temporarily putting a roof over their heads. Reverend Sweeny is also the founder of the Homeless No More program that is being duplicated nationwide because of its practicality, affordability and 90% success rate. Donations of all sizes are needed and appreciated, from providing a family of 4 a holiday meal ($7.80) to substantial support for the program. Or donate items or volunteer. 214.421.1380

Dr. Ross Pelton is a pharmacist, board-certified Clinical Nutritionist, author of 12 books, a microbiome Scientist, health educator and the Scientific Director for Essential Formulas Incorporated (EFI).  EFI specializes in premium probiotic products. Visit Dr. Pelton’s Blog.  Dr. Pelton joins us today to discuss “The Unique World of Multi-Tasking Supplements.”

Make health easy and tasty

The blog this week talks about French Fries, the benefits of vegetables in general, and as the photo hints, beets. The goal is to get the maximum benefits with the least work and make it enjoyable too.

 UPDATES

  • During today’s interview, Dr. Pelton mentions adopting a “plant-BASED” diet to properly feed our intestinal probiotics. I’ll bet that many people hearing that, think it means they must be vegetarian and that doing so is too extreme and difficult. Whoa! I would use the term “plant-RICH” diet. In other words, it is more about adding in the vegetables and fibers than what you remove from meals.
  •  Next week, Peter A. McCullough, MD will be on the show to answer questions about the current covid situation, lingering effects from the vaccines, mandates, etc. If you have a question for me to ask him, please email it to [email protected]

 LAST WEEK Show Follow-up

LISTEN to that show in the archives.

Today we talk about excellent ways to improve cardiovascular health and a whole lot more. In the second half of the show to discuss congestive heart failure from both a conventional and naturopathic viewpoint is Jane Jansen Naturopathic Practitioner from the Tree of Life Wellness Center in Seekonk, MA. One of her blogs is about congestive heart failure. Jane recommends life style and diet changes as well as supplements of Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract. We talked specifically about Formula 106. First up in the show, Kim Bright, founder of Brightcore Nutrition, returns to tell us more about the amazing benefits of beets and the easy, delicious way to supplement with organic BrightBeets+. The special she offered is “buy 2, get 1 FREE, plus a bottle of vitamin D3”. Offer is not available online, but only to listeners by calling 888-958-5331 and saying you heard Kim on our show.
