We’ve all heard the disturbing news that communities of color have been experiencing the highest rates of severe COVID-19 outcomes, including hospitalization and death. It turns out that situation is on top of previous unsettling statistics about higher incidence of many other diseases in those communities. Our guest, Richard W. Walker, Jr., MD, will help us understand the connections, causes and, more importantly, how to prevent and solve the problems. Regardless of race, we will all learn useful health information because Dr. Walker is Board Certified in Functional and Age Management Medicine. He specializes in helping the elderly, chronically ill and veterans. His latest book is Black Health Matters: The Vital Facts You Must Know to Protect Your Health and Those of Your Loved Ones. We enjoyed having him on several years ago to discuss his terrific first book, African-American Healthy: What You Need to Know to Protect Your Health. Call the live show with questions at 1-800-281-8255. Click here to see how to sign up for podcasts, play archives and learn how to listen on the radio nationwide. |

I wrote today about coffee (and to a lesser extent about tea) because caffeine is the most used drug in the world and because coffee is such an important part of life for so many. Topics include Pros, Cons and Factoids including caffeine content of various beverages. (I had a little fun with it.)

We’ve always enjoyed having Sally M. Pacholok, RN on the show. This educator/energetic activist nurse is the author of Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses. I will ask her to explain the connection studies have shown that B12 has with covid-19. Also, we’ll discuss her newest book, Could It Be B12? Pediatric Edition: What Every Parent Needs to Know about Vitamin B12 Deficiency. She also wants doctors and teachers to know neurological problems that may looks like autism, depression, and even mental illness might be a vitamin deficiency. Her covid-19 and B12 article. In the second half of the program, our superstar Peter A. McCullough, MD will interrupt his travel schedule to answer some timely questions such as: What about the Mu variant? Regarding kids in the hospital with covid – can Dr. McCullough’s medication protocol be adapted for them? Can people with no symptoms spread covid? If time permits, he will answer more. This is the website he mentioned about covid vaccine side effects. |
