Today my guest is Pamela W. Smith, MD, MPH, MS. Today we will discuss, her book, Why You Can’t Lose Weight: Why It’s So Hard to Shed Pounds and What You Can Do About It. Dr. Smith spent the first twenty years of her practice as an emergency room physician with the Detroit Medical Center in a level 1 trauma center. Dr. Smith is a diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Physicians and is an authority on wellness and functional medicine. She is the founder of the Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. Dr. Smith has been featured on CNN and is the best-selling author of ten books.
