I appreciate the many new subscribers to this newsletter. Some of you wrote in before last week’s newsletter. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to get you into the database. So, here is a link to the blog for that week, Good bugs in the belly may prevent “bats in the belfry”.Â

| Bill Sardi amazes |
When Bill Sardi is my guest, the shows are always packed with information. Below are a few tidbits from last week’s show: Shaky hands also known as essential tremor. (Not Parkinson’s) He suggested vitamin B1 (probably ideally in the form Benfotiamine) and vitamin B12 and magnesium threonate. He noted that sugar blocks vitamin B1 as does coffee, tea and alcohol with a meal block. Another cause especially for men is accumulation of excess iron. To lower that is to eat less red meat, give blood and take IP6 (from rice bran). I recommended a Dallas-area resource, MindWrks.co. Detoxing. IP6 is also useful as an annual detox 800-1600 mg per day. It helps remove heavy metals and excess calcium that is hardening the arteries. It only takes excesses out of blood, kidneys, liver, brain etc., not from the bones and teeth. Dry eyes. Probably accompanied by dry skin, hair and brittle nails. The layer that keeps the moisture in is helped by GLA (e.g. from Evening Primrose Oil or Borage Oil) and vitamin A. Teen acne. Zinc is the first thing he thinks of. Teens need good fat because the body uses that to make hormones. He suggested flax oil. Scaring comes from the infections. Antibiotics cause long term damage. With zinc for the immune system [I’d add vitamin D] and probiotics the infections can be prevented or controlled. These are obviously quick notes taken from the show, not a complete discussion of each, but hopefully it is enough to send folks looking in the right direction for natural support for problems.

| QUOTE OF THE WEEK | |||
 “To make something dirt cheap, make it out of dirt.” Donald Sadoway* |
 *Sadoway is a professor at MIT but that reminds me. If I find a quote that I like and use it, that doesn’t mean I have read that person’s books, endorse the person’s rap lyrics, researched his or her  politics or looked into whether the family was on the wrong side of the Civil War. It just means I think there is merit in that particular thought.

| Last Week Follow-up |

Bill Sardi was my guest. We revisited the baking soda for inflammation idea. Study. He also had great news about making children too well-nourished to develop a peanut allergy. And he brought news about fish oil reducing aggressive behavior in kids. Please do anyone with kids a favor and ask them to listen to this archive. The article at this link lists scientific references. I also asked about “essential tremor” the involuntary shaking of hand. MindWrks.co may help. Dry eye came up as did teen acne. Click here to view the Kid’s First-in Class Multi and the new Bicarbonate of Soda product. *Bill Sardi is a brilliant and prolific author, science investigator, and crusader for sanity in health care. He is also the sharpest supplement formulator I have found. (For example:  Longevinex 866-405-4000, Molecular Multi 800-247-5731, Garligest for heartburn and Garlinex 866-674-3955). email = [email protected].

We now know that the microorganisms in our gut are a crucial part of our human instruction manual and that they control thousands of biological functions in our bodies.
