Healthy by Nature radio show THIS SATURDAY | |||
test |
|||
Howard Garrett is widely known as “The Dirt Doctor”. This prolific author and nationally syndicated radio host is a leading expert in natural organic gardening and landscaping. The nickname is because he knows how important the soil is as a foundation to plants. As a health seeker, Howard has also become knowledgeable about the human “terrain”. It seems that the inside of our digestive system actually has much in common with soil. We will explore that connection and get tips on how to get healthier bodies this spring as well as reduce water usage around the home and help the planet detoxify. Search Howard’s website for tons of useful resources on plants of all kinds and on human health. Call the live show with questions at 1-800-281-8255. Balance and stability |

This week i used the blog to discuss the relationship of the factors I’ve labeled the legs of the stool in the graphic. Honestly, having one or more of them off kilter is the only reason (other than perhaps having a meteor hit you on the head) that you should be unwell. Because of the upcoming Earth Day and the topic of this week’s show, I talk most about the toxic factors… how we acquire them from the outside and make our own internally |

QUOTE of the week |
|||
“Bernard was right. The germ is nothing, the terrain is everything.” Louis Pasteur, French microbiologist known for discovering vaccination, pronounced that on his deathbed. [By “terrain”, he meant the internal balance of the body – the health of the cells and the immune system. Today we would add the health of the microbe colonies in the GI tract.]

LAST WEEK Show Follow-up |

I was delighted to welcome back Anthony G. Jay, PH.D. Dr. Jay is involved in research on stem cells, epigenetics [things that influence gene behavior], and infrared light at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is also President and CEO of AJ Consulting Company which does DNA analysis (currently being offered at 1/2 price) and coaching to personalize consumer or athletes’ diet, sleep, and training. That was the topic for the first part of the show. In the last part, I asked about his findings on stem cell therapy—including what supports them and what interferes with them. He is the author of Estrogeneration: How Estrogenics Are Making You Fat, Sick, and Infertile which we covered when he was on HBN January 23 of this year. Read the 1/28/21 blog for a review of details discussed.
