Healthy by Nature radio show THIS WEEK
test

Today my guest is Pamela W. Smith, MD, MPH, MS. Today we will discuss, her book, Why You Can’t Lose Weight: Why It’s So Hard to Shed Pounds and What You Can Do About It. Dr. Smith spent the first twenty years of her practice as an emergency room physician with the Detroit Medical Center in a level 1 trauma center. Dr. Smith is a diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Physicians and is an authority on wellness and functional medicine. She is the founder of the Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. Dr. Smith has been featured on CNN and is the best-selling author of ten books. In October, we discussed her book about women’s hormones and in November her book on building immunity. Dr. Smith also wrote What You Must Know About Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs and So Much More―SECOND EDITION: Choosing the Nutrients That Are Right for You  This is a link to her medical practice.

I don’t have to lecture you about eating vegetables. We ALL know we should eat them probably in greater quantities than we do. (No, the lettuce and tomato on a hamburger is not enough.)  We might think, “oh, that means living on salads”.  Well, no. Years ago, on the Healthy by Nature show I interviewed a well known raw food advocate who made a good case. (There are apparently ways to imitate almost any food with raw.) It turns out that there is more to the story. Read the blog for that and for ideas. CLICK HERE TO READ THIS WEEK’S BLOG.

 UPDATES

Before FDA authorization of the shots, the CDC did not fully disclose what it knew about the possibility that covid-19 vaccines can cause heart inflammation, clots and other problems. They also failed to use normal diligence in following up on vaccine adverse effects after they were in wide use. The organization maintains a database where hospitals, doctors, and persons can report harms. The database is not easy to find or interpret, but fortunately, the official statistics are made much more understandable on this linked website and on this one. They not that as of January 6, 2023, in the US there have been
33,464 deaths and 61,850 cases of permanent disability reported due to covid shots. The CDC tries to downplay the concerns by saying that the individual cases are not followed up to prove the shot connection. However, research has shown that harms from any vaccines are massively underreported (maybe less than 10% are logged) because the process, is time-consuming and can be intimidating.

Today we learn how to protect and improve our body’s structure and appearance by supplementing with a state-of-the-art collagen supplement, Revive—it contains all 5 types of collagen plus hyaluronic acid, biotin and vitamin C and comes in both easy to use unflavored and strawberry lemonade powder. Brightcore is offering a very special deal to HBN listeners and newsletter subscribers—Buy 2 bottles of Revive and get one Free (you can mix or match flavors)—plus a bonus, a FREE collagen Face Mask.
