| Healthy by Nature radio show THIS WEEK | |||

Widely respected and admired investigative health journalist, Bill Sardi, brought us groundbreaking news. He analyzed the science and talked to experts around the world to answer two critical questions and more: (1) Vitamin D is extremely beneficial, but why does it not always perform as expected in studies? (2) When we are seriously ill (e.g. pneumonia and even cancer), how can we effectively activate immune macrophages to fight cancer and other threats without having the macrophage cells get carried away and cause damage to healthy tissue from excess inflammation? Several clinical trials are underway (Government Database of Clinical Trials on MAF), so someday in the future we will hear the answers to those critical questions from other sources, but you can hear them now on Healthy by Nature and save lives in the meantime. This links to Sardi’s article released exclusively to HBN on the topic. (It will be easier to understand the text after he explains it on the show.) For US access to the Japanese MAF that he discussed, call 702-682-9945. This linked page reviews some important points he made during the interview. He also has an important new article on covid-19, The Worst That Could Happen Mr. Sardi’s formulations:

The nonprofit watchdog organization Environmental Working Group keeps an eye on products like sunscreen. This links to an article about the effectiveness and safety of sunscreens. Another article raises novel questions about sun and skin cancer and the effect of sun screen. It notes that outdoor workers have a lower melanoma rate than indoor workers! [vitamin D effect perhaps]

We discuss detoxification and “spring cleaning” with Kate Rhéaume, N.D. She is a expert in natural medicine and regularly appears on television and radio teaching about a variety of health topics. She is licensed in her native Canada as a Doctor of Naturopathy. Dr. Rhéaume is the author of one of my favorite books: Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox. It is an important topic and we discussed during this archived interview. Dr. Rhéaume is also an educator and spokesperson for Natural Factors Nutritional Products, which is Canada’s largest manufacturer of nutritional supplements. (Natural Factorsis also a popular and respected nutrition supplier in the US.) During this week’s show, Dr. Rhéaume recommended “The Dirty Dozen” as reference to the most important foods to buy as organic.
