We will have an interesting variety. I’ll talk with Deb McFarland from OsteoStrong of Carrollton about a non-drug solution for increasing bone density and strength; improving balance and posture; as well as reducing back and joint pain. Then, Nazar Snihur of The University of Texas Southwestern will discuss the importance of a few of the health screenings (such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate) of several that they will offer at Natural HealthFest June 17. Next, Mary Ellen Dorey Cassman of Dorey AromaTherapy will explain how aroma therapy can offer support for the lymphatic system, emotions, aches and headaches. We might also get into various delivery methods like inhalers and topical creams. Last but certainly not least, Lance VanHemel and I will discuss how enlightened restaurants are making their menus healthier. He is with the national chain Jason’s Deli that is the lunch vendor for our upcoming event.

LISTEN to that show in the archives. We had a full house! Alfred Johnson, DO led off by helping us understand how a problem with mold in a home is often diagnosed as something else entirely. Next, Steve Le has added neurofeedback to his services and told us how that works for a wide variety of ailments such as ADD and depression. Call him at 972-325-1272. Brain map usually $149 is just $49 if you mention the show or see him at Natural HealthFest. The last half of the show, our friend, The Dirt Doctor, Howard Garrett joined us. It is that time of the year when we should be reminded how to safely control mosquitoes, ticks and fleas. Also, I asked him for a quick review of the reasons for going organic in treatment of our property and gardens.
