Keep inflammation friendly

Healthy by Nature radio show this week
test
Thanks to the internet, health information is now global. My first guest, Johann Ilgenfritz is a great example (wish me luck pronouncing that). We will call him in England. He created an online radio network: UK Health Radio that features hosts from the US as well as the UK. Johann also publishes the online Health Triangle Magazine and is the developer of the WikiHealth resource. He started down this road following his successful fight against cancer. Next, my friend David Stouder will join me to discuss the two-way relationship between holiday foods and our intestinal bacteria. David has been involved in the natural foods industry for over 40 years and is a firm believer that our health is the result of decisions that we make every day in our lifestyles, diet, mental outlook, and nutritional supplementation.

This week I give inflammation a little credit where it is due, but, of course what we are most concerned about is when it becomes chronic and causes all manner of health problems. I discuss the things we can do that are anti-inflammatory and things we can avoid that promote inflammation. Click here to read this week’s blog.

LISTEN to that show in the archives.

Please tell anyone you know who has back trouble, knee pain, shoulder issues, arthritis, numbness in the feet or other health complaint to listen to the archive of this show. Stem cells are typically a better approach than surgery or even medication. (The pain drugs can be addictive. The steroid injections may reduce pain, but must be repeated and they may speed joint deterioration.) I am a fan of Human Umbilical Cord (HUC) stem cell regenerative therapy. It is the new frontier of the orthopedic field and beyond. This treatment not only eliminates the pain, but restores function and most amazingly, can regenerate the structure of the joints involved. Stem cells are also an incomparable anti-aging and beauty treatment. We talked to doctors and patients about their experiences. My guests sorted out the different types of stem cells now being used and explained HUC, which is the most effective, safest and surprisingly usually the least expensive option. I gave an offer for a free consultation–call 800-708-4385Read my blog on Stem CellsNote, there is a DFW-area seminar Tuesday November 7. Click this link to the Events Page for details.

 MY VIDEO COURSE on DIGESTION

Health, energy, mood, brain power, etc. all begin with great digestion. The absence of obvious complaints (e.g. constipation, gas or heartburn) does not guarantee everything is in proper balance. My course covers how to fix those common complaints, but also the hidden problems. The 30 classes are short and easy to digest. (Just noticed the pun.) The videos are professionally done and are available as DVD’s as well as online. Use your subscriber code, HBN20, to save 20% off of the enrollment. Click here for more details

MY BOOKS:

The Probiotic Cure. We now know that the microorganisms in our gut are a crucial part of our human instruction manual and that they control thousands of biological functions in our bodies. It is past time that we learned how to care for them because important varieties are disappearing and leaving illness behind.

Fat-Free Folly. Challenges dangerous mainstream thinking about fats. Supported with generous amounts of current science and grounded in a common sense historical framework. Learn how to build health and lose weight while enjoying more delicious food.

Natural Alternatives to Nexium, Maalox, Tagamet, Prilosec & Other Acid Blockers. Subtitle: What to Use to Relieve Acid Reflux, Heartburn, and Gastric Ailments.
Besides explaining the dangers of these medications and helping fix the real cause (which is seldom too much acid) this book is also helpful for solving other digestive problems.

Aloe Vera – Modern Science Sheds Light on an Ancient Herbal Remedy. Research shows that Aloe has benefit beyond skin and digestion–also for immune function, detoxification, nutrient absorption, blood antioxidant levels, blood sugar regulation and more. Learn how to pick the most potent brands.
