On the fence about flu shots?

Healthy by Nature radio show THIS WEEK

Bill Sardi is my guest and that means we should have pencils and notepads ready. He will teach us how to know if we might be headed in the direction of dreaded macular degeneration—the leading cause of severe loss of eyesight in people over age 60. In the United States, up to 11 million people already suffer. He also has research-backed information on heading off and in many cases, reversing that depressing condition. The product with the research is Longevinex.

Mr. Sardi is our resident answer man about dietary supplements. He is commercially involved in the following products we are delighted to advertise at HBN : Molecular Multi 800-247-5731Longevinex 866-405-4000Formula 216 / 833-848-2216; Garligest for heartburn and Garlinex 866-674-3955). email – [email protected].

More than meets the casual eye

I couldn’t stay silent any longer about flu shots. I just don’t think people have enough information (not the same as hype and dogma) to make an intelligent decision about them. I give 5 reasons to think twice, including a better way.

Quote of the week

“Medical literature has become less reliable than scientific literature because most every physician author is sponsored by a drug company and the motivation of the articles is
more to sell drugs than dissect out scientific truth.”
Dr. Arden Andersen, MSPH, Ph.D., D.O.

LAST WEEK Follow-up

LISTEN to that show in the archives.

The vast amounts of money involved in mainstream cancer detection, treatment and charity fundraising leads to domination of the media. And that means suppression of attention to or education about real disease prevention (which is not the same as early detection) and natural approaches to healing. This week we covered a little bit of what is missing. Syd Singer is the author of Dressed to Kill―Second Edition: The Link Between Breast Cancer and BrasThe websites we discussed relating to that topic: Bra Free Study and Bras and Breast Cancer and Bra Free. This links to our previous interview with Syd.

James Templeton told us about his successful use of alternatives for stage 4 melanoma. He is the author of I Used to Have Cancer: How I Found My Own Way Back to Health.

Bill Sardi talked about a common but ill-advised surgery for stage 0 breast cancer.  We also touched on his article about the resurgence of interest in vitamin C for cancer.

Finally, Kristina Lehr, another cancer survivor explained how magnets aided her recovery from a mastectomy and helped a friend with post-surgery lymphedema.

Other resources mentioned in the show: Cow Milk Increase Breast Cancer Risk – Study. An article vitamin D.
