Healthy by Nature radio show THIS WEEK | |||

The vast amounts of money involved in mainstream cancer detection, treatment and charity fundraising leads to domination of the media. And that means suppression of attention to or education about real disease prevention (which is not the same as early detection) and natural approaches to healing. This week we cover a little bit of what is missing. Syd Singer is the author of Dressed to Kill―Second Edition: The Link Between Breast Cancer and Bras. The websites we will discuss relating to that topic: Bra Free Study and Bras and Breast Cancer and Bra Free. This links to our previous interview with Syd. James Templeton tells us about his successful use of alternatives for stage 4 melanoma. He is the author of I Used to Have Cancer: How I Found My Own Way Back to Health. Bill Sardi will talk about a common but ill-advised surgery for stage 0 breast cancer. We will also touch on his article about the resurgence of interest in vitamin C for cancer. Finally, Kristina Lehr, another cancer survivor explains how magnets aided her recovery from a mastectomy and helped a friend with post-surgery lymphedema. Other resources mentioned in the show: Cow Milk Increase Breast Cancer Risk – Study. An article vitamin D. Click here to sign up for podcasts, see show archives and learn how to listen nationwide.

UPDATE | |||
The Thermography Center of Dallas is having an October Special. While there is public pressure this month to have a mammogram is a good time to remember that regulation thermography is safe, detects problems in the earliest stages and gives information about how the whole body is functioning. Note: this is a different process than photographic thermography. Dr. Einsohn has trained hundreds of practitioners, so if you can’t come to DFW, contact them anyway to see if they know of this service in your area. |

LAST WEEK Follow-up |

Americans LOVE their burgers, but they are controversial. Are they the very definition of “junk food” or is the problem the beef or the bun (gluten), ketchup (nightshade and sugar), fries (another nightshade, more sugar, bad fats) and soft drink (sugar and corn syrup with mercury) along side? Are they destroying the planet or is the real culprit industrial farming methods? What about burger alternatives like the soy substitutes or lab grown fake meats? Read Sally Fallon Morell’s blogs on the topics. Author, educator and activist Sally Fallon Morell helped us sort all that out. Her classic book is Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and Diet Dictocrats and co-author of Eat Fat Lose Fat. The November event she is coordinating in the DFW area is The Wise Traditions Conference. In the second half of the program, Dr. Ross Pelton R.Ph., Ph.D., CCN shared a nifty plan for making sure that you always have sufficient supplies of the master antioxidant / detoxifier, glutathione. The ME-3 organism that makes glutathione is in Reg’Activ. He is the Scientific Director for Essential Formulas, Inc.
